Beattie and the Jake

Yay! I officially have the Jake. For at least three weeks I have my very own dog. We'll see how traumatizing life can be for this cheeky furball. Little does he know that he's getting a bath tonight. This may be the end of his love for me. It will also destroy my apartment!
Cheers to my parents, who are on their way to India. They are losing one whole day in flight; they left yesterday night and will arrive in India on Saturday. I am glad I'm not dealing with that jet lag. I can't wait to hear about how much fun they are having. It's only 105 degrees out there right now. Ough.
